JeffPPI Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Hi All I'm working on a renedering of a sculpture. The final presentation wants to have the model with some text. I'm looking at the final product exactly as I want it on my screen, but when I export PDF, it doesn't include the model. all the text is on the PDF, but no model. I'm exporting hte printable area as one page at 300 dpi. Thoughts? Quote Link to comment
michaelk Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Are you exporting to PDF from a design layer or sheet layer? ie is the final page layout a viewport? If not, I'd try that first.... michaelk Quote Link to comment
JeffPPI Posted March 9, 2009 Author Share Posted March 9, 2009 It's a design layer. I got it to work by dropping the resolution from 300 to 250. I guess it didn't have enought memory to complete the rendering, but why didn't the customary error message appear? Quote Link to comment

cad@sggsa Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 Good day JeffPPI Make sure you are Not in a Group or Symbol and if you used multiple Design Layers you have them all set to be Export/Print. As you trying to create a PDF, there was a tread here recently were Christiaan had some PDF problems. If I remembered correctly he did not Export, but Printed to PDF and so saved it as a PDF. @ michealk I have had that it will export but some info or lines are missing. Normally when it is a complex drawing (trussing) or whilst in a group. Also, Imported a PDF plan layout, draw over it, but kept the details due to time and Exported to PNG,JPEG and PDF. The Imported PDF moved or did not what to export fully....so I Printed to PDF. No problem Quote Link to comment
