visard
I see that general notes have provided in the Library. How do we access them? Quote Link to comment
J Lucas
Via the Callout tool. Search "notes" in help. Quote Link to comment
visard
Hello J - A search of help yields: "convert old notes" and "reconcile notes" neither seems to be right. Could I get another clue, please? Quote Link to comment
gmm18
I found it in Help just fine, you might want to look again, but here is the basics: Go to the Dims/Notes Tool Set. Using the General Notes Tool, which looks like a comic book quote, Click on the drawing to place the Note. Now Notes Manager opens, at the bottom, hit Show Database Controls, Click on the note you want, and hit Add> to include that note in your list. Note that you probably, if not definitly, should not want to use any of the built-in notes, they are really just examples, you will want to write your own and add them to the database if you are going to use the Notes Manager. J Lucas
Visard, The fact that we are running different versions may explain the different search results. Try the General Notes Tool in the Annotations tool box, not the Callout Tool. Quote Link to comment
