Jershaun
Hi I just joined a Civil and Structural engineering company and they're using "ManualCAD" (Aaaaaaarrrrghhh). I would like to know from anyone if Vectorworks can be used in these disciplines, especially Civil Engineering. I would particularly be interested in people that are currently using VW for these two fields. I don't want to look like an idiot for recommending VW and it can't do the job. All advice or comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Honestly, the ability to analysis & present complex datasets in both 2d&3d makes VW a superb tool for Civil Engineering. Over the years VW has proven invaluable during the creation & production of plans & shopdrawings for roads, marinas, airports, hospitals, hotels, malls, fuel depots, resorts, as well as numerous commercial developments.
