Andrew Mac Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Can someone please help me with the extrude along path tool. I am trying to create a bottom flair of a exterior wall. It seems I really don't know how VW thinks when I draw say polyline along the exterior path of my wall and then when I extrude it it does not stay along my original path- Is there something I am missing- Please help Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 The object is exturded with its geometric center run along the path. Double Click on the extrude and edit the Profile. Move the profile so the point you want against the wall is at the zero/zero point. Click the button to exit the edit. Now you should have what you want. Pat Quote Link to comment
