CS1
I have just creted a site model, the minor contours are set to units of 200mm with major contours at every 5th interval, this means that I get a minor contour at height increments of 200mm and a major contour at increments of 1.0m. All of the major contour heights (text) are odd numbers like 91999.96 when it should be 92000.00. Whats going on? Edited September 17, 2008 by CS1 Quote Link to comment
islandmon
You could just reset the Page Units to round up . Quote Link to comment
CS1
Hi Islandmon I know how to change the units for the whole drawing, is this what you mean? Quote Link to comment
CS1
The Major Contours should be already set to the even number thou, why are they off? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Unfortunately, you have to reset the Units and then regenerate the DTM to reflect the changes. Quote Link to comment
Guest Frank Brault
Click on the Site Model Settings button of the selected Site Model in the Object Info Palette(OIP). In the dialog box that follows, enter a value in the Start Contour Offset field. A value like .04 should do the trick. hth, Quote Link to comment
CS1
Hi Frank Have tried that only about 3 contour lines have shown up with "rounded" values, I know that if I changed the "units" for the whole file to round to 0 or 0.0 that would probable work but I need that level of accuracy for other areas in the drawing. IanH
What about putting the DTM in a separate file and referencing it in? Quote Link to comment
CS1
Thanks for that Ian that will be a good work around, but it would be nice to know why it is doing it in the first place. Quote Link to comment
