Importing from Autocad

It is likely that the scale and/or the origin is wrong.

After the import do a Select All and then a Fit to Objects. You should be able to see the selection handles of the imported objects.

You may be zoomed in on a fairly small area. In this case, just zoom out until you can see the page and either move the page to the objectes or move the objects to the page.

Or, you may just see some tiny dots at opposite corners of the screen. In this case, just zoom in on one of the dots. If it is not good data (often it is just some construction line type stuff lost in space) then delete it and do the Select All/Fit to Objects command again until you get a single group of objects that you can put on a page.

It is easier to do than to describe, but write back if you still have problems.
