Brooke
Although a door-in wall is shown as having class 'door to be removed' when that class is made active and classes are set to display active only, that door does not display. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Since a door in a wall is in a "Container Object", the class of any containing objects must be set to visible also. So make sure the wall class is set to visible. If you have made a group of any walls or doors, make sure that the class of the group is visible also. It is a good practice to always leave the class of groups as None. This makes it easier to trouble shoot when you loose objects. Pat Quote Link to comment
Brooke
Okay, I daresay that advice is worth more than it's weight. Thanks much. I'll search for recommended practices on renovation work, for instance, where one has potentially overlapping / intersecting classes...but maybe that's not really unique at all. Quote Link to comment
