Brooke
I guess it is a rectangle representing the drawing center, which is tiled in wireframe 3d viewing...Sorry I can't find reference to it and would like not to have it displayed. Since it is not pickable I'm assuming it not to be one of my own artifacts. Another minor query: There is no equivalent of the crossing window selection in VW? Thank you. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Is it pink? If so, then it is the working plane grid. Double click on the Grid Snap button in the Constraints palette. Uncheck the button that says "Show Grid" and it should go away. Pat Quote Link to comment
Brooke
It is gray and displays when nothing else does. Your suggestion looked good but was ineffective...but now I see that the box delineates the border of the grid area, whether on or off. So I can get the grid turned off but not the area border. I need to learn how to set the grid area, at least. Edited February 3, 2008 by Brooke Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
OK, that is the page area. Go the Page Setup and uncheck the box labeled something like Show Page Boundary. Pat Quote Link to comment
