gScott
i've figured out how to customise the drawing border to my graphics, but i have discovered that the default date format in both the 'issue' + 'revision' functions is the american mm/dd/yy format. my OS is set up to the metric yy/mm/dd + dates pulled into other programmes reflect the OS format. is there a way to tell the title block which format to use? i've tried both the parameters + strings sections of the PIO but can't find a setting for this. Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted May 26, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 26, 2007 gideon, I would consider this a bug. Do you mind reporting it? Quote Link to comment
gScott
update to this.... after fiddling with the winXP 'regional + language options' control panel i find that on the 'advanced' tab the 'language for non- unicode programs' < default setting of 'english (united states) > affects the VW date format rather than the date settings under the normal 'regional options' tab. setting this, in my case, to 'english (south africa)' corrected the problem described above. it is odd that the default advanced tab setting 'english(united states)' does not affect the metric date display elsewhere in winXP or in other applications that read the date in.
