trumpetsaj
I just purchased Version Designer 12.5 and I would like to get up and running as fast as possible. My goal is to have enough skill to design and render an addition to our house. After just spending a number of hours looking over the program, I don't see a clear path to reaching my goal. Where should I start and what order should I proceed? I see Turorial files in the VectorWorks folder, but no Tutorial listed in either book. Please help! Thanks. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
The "Archoncad" "Essential" manual would be about the best staring point. www.archoncad.co.nz N. Quote Link to comment

islandmon
Where should I start and what order should I proceed? First, beginning by making an accurately dimensioned 'Asbuilt' 2d plan of your existing structure. Next, you can convert that plan into a 3d model. Whence & furthermore ... begin a 2d Plan of your addition to plug into the existing plan. Then convert that plan into a 3d model and spend countless hours admiring your good work and printing full-color renderings of every conceivable angle & view & walk-thru ... then take your lovely girlfriend for a virtual reality excursion into the new bedroom to show her your etchings ... send the resultant movie to YouTube ; ) Quote Link to comment
