grahamc
The smart cursor on one of our systems now shows on a yellow background. I don't know how this happened, or, if this is important. Does it signify anything? And, if so, how do I turn it on and off? It is certainly much easier to see when on a grey background. Thanks, curiously, Graham Quote Link to comment
Guest
It sounds like "Opaque Smart Cursor" is enabled in VectorWorks preferences under the Edit tab. Quote Link to comment
grahamc
That was it Katie. Thank you. Nice to know it was something harmless (and useful too). Graham Quote Link to comment
Donald Wardlaw
It does that every now and then (change to the yellow background) on its own. I find it is necessary to go into preferences and reset it. Regards, Donald Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
i really like the yellow smart cursor (opaque smart cursor), because you can read the screen hints more easily. Quote Link to comment
Donald Wardlaw
Jonathan, Noted. But more often than not, the hints are so context driven that you don't really need to read them, you just need to know there is a hint. Regards, Donald Quote Link to comment
