Mark McCay-Moran
I've got lots of Callouts in VP Annotation mode. Is there any way to add these to my Callout Database? Seems counterintuitive, but the Text to Database command seems to only work with Text objects not Callouts. Even though I can add them to a Callout Database rather than the Notes Database. I've tried pasting callouts into a Design Layer from Annotations, no joy. Also, even with Text objects, the Text to Database command doesn't seem to recognize text in VP Annotation mode. If there's some easy way to do this that I'm missing, please straighten me out. cheers, mmm Quote Link to comment
Mark McCay-Moran
I'll bump this just once. I'm stalling on retyping a bunch of callouts, so if anybody has advice on this, its reatly appreciated. cheers, mmm Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Are you aware of the Callout Database FilePath. This one's for 11.5.1: file://localhost/Applications/VectorWorks%2011.5.1/Plug-Ins/Common/Data/Notes/ You can use a TextEditor to find&replace, etc. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
I was going to suggest that you the Reconcile Notes... command because that works really well on finding notes and checking them against your database. While this works with a callout not in a viewport, it does NOT work with a callout in a viewport. Quote Link to comment
