Fixed length witness lines for all dimension style

At the moment you can only have fixed length witness lines on custom dimension styles. This should be possible on all dimension styles.

Better still woold be the option to have control over the witness line length on individual dimensions. Ditto for the marker style.

The default dimensions are dimensions that match indusstry standards. If you want something different from an industry standard, then you will need to create a custom dimension.

Kate, fixed length witness lines are essential for architecture so that the drawings remain readable. Having this capability within the standards would not comprimise them.

why notmake your custom dimension style, add it to your template and set it as the dimension standard that you want to use?

Jonathon, you can do that and I have.

The point I am trying to make is that fixed length witness lines should be the default not vice versa. They are the norm for architectural work, and most others types of work as well I would think. Why not have a protocol suitable for the majority rather than the minority?
