0 sphere3d
Yes indeed. Often i need all objects from one layer, so i would like to import this layer into my new document. It used to be, when creating a new layer, one could choose from a standard, and all objects were imported along. Now it seems only the layername is imported.... Quote Link to comment

0 Christiaan
Yeap, and to be able to choose which parts (layers, classes, etc.) Quote Link to comment
0 P Retondo
To import all objects from a layer, including the layer name (which should be different from your existing layer names), add a Workgroup Refrence. Delete the reference and save the objects. C'est fini! What Christiaan is talking about is a more sophisticated and controllable import feature, and I would like it to include the ability to import Sheet Layers and Viewports. (BTW, Christiaan, is that pronounced "yeep" or "yep?") 1 Quote Link to comment
