Andrew Mac
I know this has been discussed but I am trying to create a 3-d model of a 2 story home, 1st floor, 2nd floor, roof- I am using vectorworks Arch. 11.5.2 and am wondering if I can generate a rendered drawing without the lines on the exterior of the home(lines represent the individual floors stacked on one another)I would like just one solid surface for the exterior of the home Quote Link to comment

Jonathan Pickup
if you assign the same texture to both parts of the building (the upper and lower floors) then you shouldn?t see a join. Final Quality RenderWorks won?t show the lines anyway... if you are using hidden line renderings then there is a way to do this, you need to make a thin 3D shape, a bit like a skirt that goes around the joint in the two walls. The trick is that the skirt has no line on it.. Quote Link to comment
