grant_PD
I've been experiencing a lot of crashing lately on my office machine (Mac os X dual 1.8 ghz). This almost always happens when I'm doing some pretty intense renderings (area/line lights are a sure way to crash). So I did some renders and watched the system monitors. VW will take up all but .5 percent of CPU processes during a render! Could that be the reason why the computer crashes? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
You bet ... VW should snap up 90% +... those Activity Bars should all be lit up ... This is , indeed, very weird ! Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
Oh they're lighting up alright. The fans start whirring, my computer wants to shut itself off, the monitors shut down. It's like watching smoker run uphill. I don't have this problem with my home rig (windows machine) just this one at the office. Any other Mac users out there have this problem? Quote Link to comment
Guest
What other programs are you running while VW is running? What version of OS 10 are you running? Quote Link to comment
