Cristiano Alves
Hello Guys, I would like to understand if it's possible and how I can create a "parametrically rotatable object." The goal is to implement it for some objects like Adjustable Barriers for crowd control, but I believe it could have many more potential uses. One of the main reasons I switched to Vectorworks was precisely because of the ability for objects to have parametric transformation capabilities. However, for the past two days, I've been back to "the old ways," manually edit objects for different opening angles (in this case). Is it possible to build this type of object ourselves? Pat Stanford
This is a perfect use case for making a Marionette object. Marionette or Vectorscript/Python or SDK are the way you make parametric objects for yourself. There is no button to take an object you have drawn and just say "make this parametric" 1 Quote Link to comment
