sandertb
Hi all, Does anyone know if it is possible to combine two nurbs curves into one, when the endpoint of one curve equals the startpoint of the other curve? Many thanks! Quote Link to comment
VIRTUALENVIRONS
Yes. Same as if they are not connected. When you do this, check the join points. If they are two sharp, they may come to a sharp point. Use the Reshape tool to smooth the vertex. Quote Link to comment
sandertb
Thanks for the reply! I am actually looking for a way to do this using python, would you know how to do this? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I think your only choices (and I am saying this so that someone else will prove me wrong with a better way 😉) are to use DoMenuTextByBName to access Combine/Connect or to walk the existing NURBS curves and create a new one from the data you have collected. I tested and CombinePolygons does not work with NURBS. Quote Link to comment
