deadtomorrow
I'm trying to show the plant ID as the tag in Design view, but the font is huge, is there a way of editing this? I've found the Tag Class in the Navigation menu and how to edit that, but can't see how to edit the font size. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Untested, but maybe this is what you need: Go to the Navigation palette in Vectorworks. Click on the "Tag Classes" tab to access the Tag Class settings. Locate the Tag Class that corresponds to the plant ID tag you want to modify. Right-click on the Tag Class and select "Edit" from the context menu. In the Tag Class dialog box, navigate to the "Text" tab. In the "Text Size" section, you can adjust the font size by entering a specific value or using the slider to increase or decrease the size. Once you have set the desired font size, click "OK" to apply the changes. 1 Quote Link to comment

I do seem to have got round it though by creating a Text Style in the Resource Manager, and then adding that to a Tag Class in the Navigation palette. Which sounds like it might be the same or similar thing to what you've suggested but from a different menu. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Yeah, I was moving too fast. Sorry. In the Tags Class select a Text Style to use for the tag. You can then edit the size in the Text Style dialog box to be whatever size you want. You probably want to go to the Resource Manager and create a Text Style to use before you assign it to the class so you don't have to change one of the defaults. Quote Link to comment
