Jrw Posted October 25, 2023 Share Posted October 25, 2023 Hi guys, I am numbering cables via ConnectCAD > drawing > number cables...I know we can use spotlight numbering to manually do it however, this is quicker as it's automatic labelling. However, it starts from 9001 every time, is there a way I can change it to follow my rule, say starts from 001? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee IAtovski Posted October 25, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 25, 2023 Hello, ConnectCAD numbering works by applying rules to the cables. cCAD2 is the default system and the rule that applies to your case has the “9” prefix built into it. So, editing the rule to delete the “9” will result in your example of 001. You are of course free to create new rules and systems to fit your workflow. I hope this helps.
