Garbled low-fi icons

I'm an amateur VW designer

 

we have VW 2020 (v. 25.0.6) and I'm running Mac OS 13.3.1

 

I have a plot that was looking fine.  then I copy and pasted a text block and suddenly the icons of the lighting instruments turned garbled.  

 

I've had this before with them looking low-fi aka sloppy sketches which you can still see the basic outline, but now it is much worse. 

 

I have no clue how to begin troubleshooting this

 

attached are some screenshots - one that shows the icons correctly, one that shows the "sloppy sketches" and one that is much more garbled - as well as the VWX lighting plot

Go to View>Rendering

 

You have it set to Sketch.

 

Set it to Wireframe.

I'm impressed that you got VW2020 to run on MacOS 13.  It's only supported up to MacOS11.1!

OMG thank you so much

 

another silly question - all the lighting icons turned suddenly - they should be a top view but now I am looking straight into their ends and there is no white inside of them

Make sure you are in top/plan view.  Not top view.
