Number Stamp Tool Reset

Hello, all,

 

How do I go about resetting the numbering sequence of the Number Stamp tool in the same drawing?  I have two different areas in the same drawing that I'm trying to number starting with "1", and I can't figure out how to start the second sequence from 1.

Hello @Geoff G,

 

Are you using the Data Tag for this? If so, you can have different numbering sequences if you use different data tag styles or if you set some criteria when renumbering - for example, renumber all on the same layer.

If you open the Number Stamp tool preferences (double click the tool's icon or select the tool and click the wrench tool preferences icon in the toolbar), you can change the number the tool starts with next time you use it by putting "1" or any other desired starting number into box for StartID
