Fills have started showing up in wrong place in DWG exports for CAD

Vasilia

Question

Hi,

My first few exports the fills were all fine.  I was fine tuning my export to have what I wanted and experimenting since it is my first time.  Now all my exports have a specific set of fills that show up in the wrong place on every export.  Help please. Now that I know what I want the export to be format wise I can't get everything to export in the right location. See first export and the new exports issue. What have I done? I deleted the design layer and made a new one with the fill but it is still the same.

Thank you

Thank you so much. I had the fills/hatches (on separate design layers) on a 3D view instead of layer.

I have used so many of your directions for correcting mistakes. Always so helpful.

Now why can't I turn off the pdf's that I exported with the DWG in model space when in AutoCAD? I made them all on layer as well.

Check and see what AutoCAD layer (= vectorworks class) they are on.  If that AutoCAD layer is current, you can't turn it off (just like Vectorworks).  Make a different layer active and you should be able to turn them off.
