Where should I ask for equipment asset requests?

 

I'm not sure if I should ask a question here, but I'll ask.

The version I am currently using is vectorworks2022 (Spotlight).

I would like to request assets for ETC Halcyon Platinum, Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1L, and CKC V15. 2, should it be called 3D drawing?

I'm not sure what we define as, but I need an instrument symbol, where should I request it?

I'd like to make it available in Vision.

The Spotlight and Vision fixture request form is in the support section of the customer portal

If you are on service select or subscription you can make up to 3 requests per month Quarter

The ETC Halcyon Platinum and Chauvet Outcast 1L are both already available in the premium service select libraries

@neurain Jesse is correct that the Spotlight and Vision fixture request form is available on the customer portal. However, the limit is not three requests per month it is three individual fixtures per quarter. 

 

The ETC Halcyon and Chauvet Outcast 1L are already available as Jesse states but they are only in VW2023 as that is the current version at the moment. We are no longer producing any content for VW2022.

I am wondering if there is a way to access theses fixtures on a student license?

@thedecarolisI am not sure if student licenses have access to the Premium Libraries. If students have access then your Resource Manager will have a tab for the Premium Libraries. It will look like the screenshot attached. This may be something that you have to contact tech support to get a definitive answer.

Thank you for this info. I am just starting my last year at school and will use the student2PRO once I graduate. Is there a way I can get access to the symbols for the ETC Halcyon fixtures? I am using them in my last show for school. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Since that fixture is only available in 2023 version, you can see if the 2023 educational license has it available. If not, you can consider a monthly subscription purchase, which would give you access to the fixture for your last show.

I have just updated my 2023 to the latest service packet, and I am still not able to find the fixture.

The fixture is only available in the Premium libraries which cannot be accessed using an educational license and that is why you are not seeing it after updating to SP6.
