Laukutis
Good afternoon everybody, I recently started to learn VW and accidentally somehow turned on some black frame/window in the 3d viewport and don't know how to turn it off. It acts like a window through which I can see the scene. If I zoom in the scene, I don't see everything what comes outside this frame. Could anybody tell me what is this frame and how to switch it off. Thanks for help. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
What version of VW are you running? What you are seeing is called Cropped Perspective. In newer versions you can switch to a perspective view and not get the crop. In older versions Perspecitive view and the Crop are linked together. In that case switch back to an Orthogonal view from the View Menu:Perspective. Quote Link to comment
Jesse Cogswell
If you want to stay in Perspective mode but want to lose the crop, open the Document Settings and uncheck Cropped Perspective. It should be there in any version of Vectorworks going back until at least 2015, and I want to say it was there going back as far as 2010, but don't have an old install to check. 1 Quote Link to comment
Laukutis
I use VW 2023 Design suite version. Couldn't find anythere this "Cropped Perspective" yet.... If I switch to orthogonal view, frame disappears. Back in to perspective - here it is again 🙂 Edited July 7, 2023 by Laukutis Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Look at the second up from the bottom in the Document Preferences:Display pane. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
It only displays as an option in the Display tab if Enable Legacy 2D features is checked first. But if the crop is displaying in the drawing area then presumably Legacy 2D features is enabled... Legacy 2D disabled: Legacy 2D enabled: 1 Quote Link to comment
Laukutis
Thanks for all. I have solved this 🙂 Quote Link to comment
