Until the much anticipated VW Store is up and running….

Well….I couldn’t quite wait for the “VW Store” to arrive.  So, I created a little Store environment on my webpage. No muss, no fuss. 
At this juncture, I am primarily interested in creating and making available some 3d Furniture objects people can utilize for interior renderings, which are not readily available in the VW Libraries.

 

If any of you are feeling adventurous, check it out..I welcome any thoughts you may have. It is still a work in progress. 🙂

Hats off to you for taking the initiative.

 

I've often considered the viability of selling assets. Many other modelling programs offer a 'marketplace' and I feel that it would be a great way to save time for the various fields who use Vectorworks. Have you found much success at this point selling you wares?

 

I'm a landscape architect and would love to see something similar available for my field.

That is really nice work, worth it at twice the price.  How or with who did you set up the payment system with.  I have often thought of doing the same, but can't figure out the "add to cart" thing, etc.

My existing webpage is hosted by Wix. 
It was very easy and simple to use their tools to set up a little e- commerce store right from my webpage. All very automatic/ plug and play even incorporating the whole payment options, etc.

@MrNoodles well, I just went online with this last night, so pretty quiet so far. There is some talk as of late regarding a sort of VW Store, so perhaps when they fire it up…if and when they do, you may be able to post some of your wares. Or download items offered by other users!

@FMA  The VW store was the brainchild of Kevin K.  A lot of users jumped on this thread including Vectorworks proper itself.  It then fell to Vectorworks to implement at some point in time.
