Stereoface
Hey, I'm trying to learn ConnectCAD and something changed between a few days ago and today. I no longer can see any built-in Resources. Including any non-custom Devices that I've made or Signal Types or Connector Types. Only a single item in the device builder that I made a few days ago. In the Vectorworks Libraries, the folder structure is all there, but there are no resources at all. I have re-installed, re-downloaded the library, and refreshed. Very confused at this point. I'm sure it has something to do with the ConnectCad Library. It was working fine a few days ago... I have not installed any new software or installed any windows updates. Quote Link to comment
Stereoface
Also all of the text files inside this folder are blank... Vectorworks\2023\Libraries\Defaults\ConnectCAD\ConnectCAD_Database Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nikolay Zhelyazkov Posted June 27, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 27, 2023 Hello @Stereoface, Could it be that you have selected to not use the application ConnectCAD data from ConnectCAD Settings dialog? If not, can you try renaming your Vectorworks\2023 folder to Vectorworks\2023 old and then restarting VW to see if this fixes the issue? Best Regards, Nikolay Zhelyazkov 1 Quote Link to comment
Stereoface
Yes that must have been it, though even before that I noticed that renaming a folder rebuilds the structure but no files get restored 😕 Gotta make sure that stays unchecked! Don't know why you'd even want the option really... 1 Quote Link to comment
