MacBookAir 15 M2 for Vectorworks

Recommended Posts

Anyone one using a MacBook Air 13 M1 or M2 for Vectorworks?

Looking probably the 24Gb Ram model and it would be a homework machine more than daily driver?

So not the main use and rendering would be limited or bumped to the cloud.

A toss up between this or the MacBookPro 14 16Gb

Both would seem a very upgrade from the MCP13 2019 I'm using.

Looking at the same. reports claim the M2 15" performs better than the 13" because of the additional heat sink of a larger case. Even for rudimentary work, guessing Vectorworks will heat it up. Also seeing that 256gb SSD storage is slow, ergo 512 min. The pro will obviously do heavy lifting (but amp up the RAM). For me, its the weight, so the AIR has strong appeal.

Got you beat with a vintage 2015 MBP 13" that's run its course😱
