Curtwitt
I would like to be able to search for all occurrences of one of my own plant symbols in a design in Landmark 2023 (Mac). Of course I have many plants and many occurrences of the same plant in a design. I know how to get a report of numbers of each plant but not how to find any or all instances of a particular plant. Is this possible and, if so, how is that done. Thanks for any help. Quote Link to comment
Jeff Prince
Use the "select similar" tool aka the Magic Wand in the main tool icons. Set it to "object type" and click on the plant type you want to select. Hold down shift to grab multiple species. 1 Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
if you have the report on all of the instances of the plant in your report, change the report heading so that is not counting up all the plants together but showing the plants individually (turn off the sum). Then you can right-click on the left column and it will select the plant in the drawing. 1 Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
another favorite of mine is the Custom selection, you can select objects by the record format field value, so you can set it up to find a plant with a particular Latin name, common name, etc... 1 Quote Link to comment
Curtwitt
Thank you both for your input. Jeff had the answer to the specific question I was looking for. Dead easy. Don't know how I missed it. 1 Quote Link to comment
