jcbarnes75
When I run the script as a wrapper it creates a closed polygon, but when I convert it to an object node it no longer creates a polygon, just 2 separate lines. marionette compose test.vwx Quote Link to comment
Antonio Landsberger
@Marissa Farrell There seems to be an issue with the Compose node, when the wrapper is turned into a Marionette object. The following error message shows up, when you feed the two lines through an ordered list to the compose node. Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted August 18, 2023 Marionette Maven Share Posted August 18, 2023 This is likely due to the Compose command requiring objects to be selected, which doesn't work well inside of Marionette Objects, if at all. I'm not sure there's a current workaround because there isn't a function that allows users to compose without an active selection, to my knowledge. I guess it would be possible to write a new node that could query the points/vertices of polys and lines and draw a new line, but it wouldn't be straightforward and would take me a while to get right. I'll keep thinking about this. Quote Link to comment
