Path site modifier question

So I used the centerline mode on the path site modifier and the start and end elevations are correct but for some reason the site model isn't grading around the path, rather it's just making a vertical edge. The path sits within a grade limit on the site model so I'm not sure why it isn't grading it out. My other option is to just drape a texture bed on the model that follows the existing terrain but I'd like to try and figure the tool out. 

 

My other question is: Once the modifier is in place, how would I put a hardscape or something on that modifier to display it as a certain type of path.

Hi @JonKoch.  I opened your file and it looks like there's one tiny corner where the path modifier extends beyond the grade limits.  I've figured out the hard way that if you have one or more site modifiers that are trying to grade the site (even if out of bounds by just an inch), it has the capability of screwing up the whole model.  Once I extended the grade limit in that corner, it seems to have fixed the issue (see attached file).
