Is it a perpetual license, or does it require an annual payment?

Are you wanting a transfer fee, or is it included?

It should be a permanent license, but it will not be upgradeable. As long as you have hardware and operating system compatible with VW2022 it should continue to run with no annual payment.

 

At this time Vectorworks is not selling new Service Select licenses which is the annual service that offers upgrades.

 

The only path forward for the newest versions (if you don't already have a license and a Service Select agreement is via a subscription.

I would be happy with not upgrading, I am only seeking 2022 to work on a new Mac which will have Ventura (OS 13) -- otherwise I would stay with 2021 which I already have.

Yes perpetual , no annual payment

I was told by VW CSR ,  no transfer fee between CA/US/UK.
