MGuilfoile
I've seen colleagues using 3D Studio Max place realistic 3D figures into their models. They look so much better than the flat photo images or the clumsy, bloated 3D figures provided in Vectorworks. The best part is I would not have to move them around or avoid "bird's eye" views (where the flat images look like, well, flat images.) I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find anything similar to what I've seen in 3DS for use in Vectorworks. Does anyone have a solution? While I'm at it, is there any hope for having .fbx IMPORT into Vectorworks? I think that would go a long way to helping me work with the ever-increasing number of 3D applications that I need to work with. Thanks, MHBrown Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
Here are some sources: https://renderpeople.com/3d-posed-people/ https://secure.axyz-design.com/en/shop/ https://evermotion.org/shop/cat/390/characters I've used RenderPeople a number of times. You can download the SketchUp format then import this into VWX. I tend to also Simplify the mesh and downsample the texture since these figures are pretty 'heavy' by default. 2 Quote Link to comment
