Image props greyed out

When rendereing a bunch of trees image props, about half of them render as grey planes. I'm guessing this has something to do with the density at which I've put them in, and therefore it might be a memory problem. This is also supported by the fact that the higher the rendering quality, the worse the problem is.

If anyone has a good answer and/or solution, I would appreciate it.

Normally, I use custom renderworks settings and when I have problems with image props I up the raytrace value to about 4 or 5.

Thanks both, I had it set to 3. I was worried about putting it higher because it's a huge model (20 floor tower) that I've already had problems rendering due to "lack of memory."

But at least I know the cause of the problem now, so thanks.

Hello gov_colin:

Use Custom RW mode and set the raytracing recursion to twice the number of overlapping props. So if you have three that overlap set it to 6.
