I'm trying to use a plant area style on a inclined roof and the 3D comes in flat and wont tilt Help

So  I'm tiring to make a pitched green roof using landscape areas and plant styles, but whenever I go to make the landscape area It flattens out and I cant rotate the hybrid object after the fact see below:

I would create a Site Model the shape of your roof then in Top/Plan draw a Landscape Area over the top of it. If the LA is set up to display as a texture bed + you've got the site model layer selected in the OIP, when you update the site model the LA will transfer to the site model. Then you can hide the site model on an 'Invisible' class in case you need to edit it later on.
