DWG not importing correctly

I'm trying to upload a DWG file and when I do it says it has successfully completed but the drawing is not what I uploaded. I cannot seem to find a reason as to why this would be happening, is there a way I can convert the file without losing the drawing on it?

Not sure I understand.  You're trying to upload something to the forum and it's uploading a different file?

I am having a similar problem. I export a DWG from Vectorworks 2023 and it makes a DWG file. Mmy file has a PDF in it but the CAD user to whom I always share files doesn't see the PDF layer.  When I import the same DWG into a new VWX file, I only get the pdf and no other design layers.

@avyclaire or @ParkerFeenstra can you post a file that you haven't been able to export and/or a screen shot of the the settings you are using?
