Files won't open, shows error message

I borrowed my friends laptop for the weekend because mine was in repair. And after opening my Vectorworks files on his laptop I'm unable to now open them on mine. It shows an error message. Can anyone help me open them, I was just about finished with my portfolio and I really need access to them.

What error message is it showing?

 

If you have a commercial version of VW and he had an educational version it would end up watermarking and not being openable in the commercial version. If that is what happened, I think you will have to send the files to Tech Support to remove the watermark and convert them back to commercial.

 

But that is the only thing I can think of without seeing the error message.
