  1. When you work on a georeferenced project, your twinmotion model will be distorted becouse of the high coordinate values. The solution would be using the user origin during the export process instead of internal origin.
  2. I'm not sure thet I understand it 100%, but I'll try your workflow when I'll have more time. But I think the right way would be if vwx exported the model using the user origin coordinates instead of internal.
  3. This time it really fails. In class preferences I have an image fill, everything is linked to class in my landscape area setup, and nothing happens when I change it to a simple color fill in the viewport class setup. I have materials for my landscape area components but textures are linked to class also here.
  4. Hello, My project is geolocated, and direct link uses internal origin instead of user origin. So my model in twinmotion is far- far away from the origin which causes distortion. How could I solve this? I think the solution would be if direct link used user vectorwork's origin for exporting. But I don't find any setup possibility for that neither in vwx nor in twinmotion. Does anyone have any solution for that?
  5. SOrry, that was my mistake, everything was linked to class style but color!
  6. Hi, I'm working on a quite big project, now the vwx file is 230MB, with lots of layers and classes. Viewport class definition doesn't work, it even starts to struggle, when I want to edit class definition (freezes for a while), then it just doesn't changes anything in the viewport. The object's appearence are linked to class definition. If I open an empty file, it works fine. Do you know a trick what to do in this case? I had a try with purging, but no effect. 7. Thank you, I apprepriate you help, I'll keep playing with it. Best regards, Zs
  8. Hi, you helped me a lot with this discussion, thank you! I extended the form to show also the component thickness in cm #WS_COMPONENTNAME(1)# - #WS_COMPONENTTHICKNESS(1)*100# cm
  9. Thank you for your answer! Does this method works for you well on mac? Unfornutelly it doesn't work for me on windows. Although if I zoom very close to the point it's not sure it will conntect the grade object to the network. 😞 Even if it takes the height of it.
  10. Hello, how can I attach my new grade objects to the existing network? Although I wait till the other grade object becomes red, it snaps to it's point, and gets the right height value from it, lot's of time the new grade object just doesn't attach to it. The points remain separated, two heigth labels are shown and I suppose that site model also doesn't like the two points on each other when I want to use the network for site modification. Is there a good method which works?
  11. I've just noticed your post. Thank you for the linked page, I'll read it.
  12. Thank you, I really appreciate your help, this is exactly what I needed!!!
  13. HI, I didn't find the way how to list all the classes assigned to a layer. I have lot of classes and layers, but I don't see the links between them. Any idea? thank you
  14. For me vectorworks puts the site model's insertation point always to internal origin for any reason. Do you have a trick how to avoid this? I couldn' find any topic about that.
  15. You just gave me back my hope in vectorworks! Spent hours to solve it, I thought that it should be something abot big coordinates, but my user origin was close, so I had no idea. I really cannot imagine how the dtm's insertation point went so far away, I generated the dtm from couple of newly drawn stakes, what could happen? Resetting the coordinates solved my 3D view problem. Then changing the LA setup to 'by style' solved also the emptiness issue! Really apprepriate your kind and useful help! Zsombor
  16. Hi, thank you for your answer. They are absolutely the same in every aspect. I copied it to a blank file and attach. Other annoying thing: in 3D view things sometimes just dissapear when I use flyover tool or zoom or pan. Then I have to go back to top view and start again. With this blank file it works now well, but with the original one it fails although there are only the layers of these few things open. I apprepriate your help! próba4.vwx
  17. Now I started to use landscape area for every surface and it seemed to be really fine for a while. But now some of the objects which are the same style look empty in 3D. The user origin is within 2-300 meters. Not only in shaded mode but also in others. Why? In 2D it's OK.
  18. I'm also disappointed about this service. I've sent couple of requests, without any reply for some of them! Without a confirmation letter I cannot refer to the case.
  19. Its almost impossible to set proper heights for curved form hardscapes only with stakes and grades! We'd need pads and 3D polys in the surface modifier toolset. An other solution: hardscapes should be able to adjust to site model like landscape area can. Now if you set the hardscape as texture bed its only a graphical feature, the slab stays on zero level. A forum topic about this issue:
  20. Thank you, this method with the landscape area really seems to be the best solution for this. I'm just wondering why you cant make the same with a hardscape? If you just could use pads or at least 3D polys in the surface modifier window.... Thank you for your help, best regards Zsombor
  21. Thank you, I attached the file, I copied the site model and the hardscape to a blank one. But you can also demonstrate it easily: just create a site model from 4 stakes then make a roundform hardscape with couple of stake modifiers or grades.próba2.vwx próba2.vwx
  22. Thank you Slebsack for your answer! The grade limit didn't solve my problem (you can see it in the picture, now I set one). I set up the heights for the hardscape in aligned hardscape mode with stakes and grade ojects in the editor window. Within the area between the stake objects the hardscape goes to the right level, but outside them the level stays at zero. A hardscape shouldn't behave like this, like water, I can't put stakes on every point of the curved edge. I tried: the tiny parts outside them stayed also on zero. Or is there an other way to level a curved formed hardscape? Thank you, Zsombor
  23. ...in section viewport the hardscapes stayed on zero heght. I think because they are 'just' texture beds. So pad modifier+texture beds definitely are not the right solution.
