  1. Hi, My mouse cursor keeps disappearing in VW24 with macOS Sonoma. I updated today to the latest version which unfortunately didn't make any difference. Earlier, I was able to go to the Dock and the pointer would appear again, but since the last update, even this workaround doesn't work. Any clues on how to fix this? Many thanks! Martin
  2. That sounds great! I was just thinking of a streamdeck integration where I list the most used layers and classes on the bottom rows and then the most used tools above. That’ll make it easy to write and create on specific layers and classes more easily. It would also be super nice to assign specific tools and objects to specific, pre-defined, classes and layers so that when I add a truss for instance, it automatically goes to the Rigging layer. And so on. Is this even doable? many thanks!
  3. Thanks @bjoerka for the response! Ah, the RW Background did the trick (for now) 😃 Many thanks!
  4. Hi, I have had an issue with this rendering since the start of the drawing. Same problem with VW22, 23, and now 24. The lamp doesn't light up but there is still light somehow. It works sometimes, but mostly the lamp is black. Any suggestions? Thanks! 😃
  5. Hi, I'm working on a suggestion for a stage build and would like to draw some kind of tent/roof with poles and ballasts. I don't know how to start with the concrete ballasts, poles, and fabric. Does anyone have a good tutorial or tips regarding this? Image for reference. Thanks! Martin
  6. Aha ok, thanks! Any clue where I can find them by any chance? I thought they were a part of VW's earlier edition, or am I wrong?
  7. Hi, I've seen some people use beMatrix parts in their designs. I can't find the objects in VW. Where can I find a library of these parts if not in VW? I'm on VW24. Thanks!
  8. @DBruhnke That made sense! Now it works! Thanks!!
  9. Thanks! It still doesn't work on my end. I've set the object to "Closed" and connected all lines. I've also changed the fillet radius to several different sizes (I even tried that before without any success). I must be missing something really obvious here...
  10. Hi, I must have forgotten something important because I can't fillet these polylines' edges. Am I stupid or am I missing something? File for download below. Thanks! Untitled 1.vwx
  11. I found this out as well. You need to have the class you want to use for data tags active when adding data tags. In my case I had another riser class active and it pasted the risers from that class onto my sheet, which I didn't want. Took some time to figure this one out....
  12. If I create a symbol I can't use the stage deck tool any more right? I thought about that as well, but had second thoughts since I'd need a lot of symbols for different heights and combinations...
  13. I've thought about that, but I want to have it super clear what each risers' height is. I might end up doing both of them in the end 😃 Color and height info.
  14. I must do something wrong because I only get a (!)-symbol... Any clue why this is?
  15. Thank you! Can I batch-do this with every stage deck in the drawing, or do I have to make them one by one? I'd like this feature to be default and for the Data tags to be on a specific layer as well. Can I implement this at the time of putting the decks on the drawing? Many thanks! Martin
  16. Hi, I'm trying to show my stage decks-heights on a sheet layer, but adding a linked text from a record doesn't work as far as I understand. I tried to use the "Text Option" dialogue box -> activate Height, but that makes the text too small and doesn't align with the riser. Any tip on how I can do this better? Thanks!
  17. Ah, that's a good one. I'll try this one out straight away 😃 Thanks!!
  18. Hi again! Would you by any chance have a clue what's going on? Am I just a rookie here or is something not really straightforward with vertical trusses? Now I'm working on a vertical LED GS system but every time I attach the truss to the base it flips upside down, and hence put the truss below the actual base plate. I'm thinking, might @jcogdell have a clue since you're the master of trusses 😃 ? Many thanks all!
  19. @Kevin McAllister , @bcd and @markdd you guys are just the best. So many thanks!!! I really want to learn how to model stuff in 3D more and this info got me started. Warm regards! Martin
