It feels like it's strangely challenging to locate release notes for a service pack. I wish that there was a link to the service pack's release notes right in the Vectorworks updater. It feels like every time I spend multiple minutes trying to locate the link. I do usually end up here, in the forums, but it takes a bit more time than it should.

Add me to the list of people who'd like to see this 'fixed'. It seems like a serious oversight.

Has anyone even tried to do this, and failed the same way I have? I just need some idea of whether it's even feasible. Thanks.

Hello All, It seems like the DoMenuTextByName function cannot run the Publish command, as far as I can tell. Am I correct in this understanding? We use the publish command for all our output, and I'd like to create a script that saves, makes sure certain classes are turned off, etc. prior to getting to the Publish dialog box. If it's not possible, can anyone recommend a workaround and/or let me know where to put in a request to have this functionality added? It doesn't feel like it's a particularly difficult addition to the VS environment, but I could be completely off-base on that. Thanks in advance! John
