Gary C
In the door schedule, under the "Door Operation" column, I would like to get the schedule to list thetype of door as "Swing" "Pocket" "slider" etc... not "Swing Simple", "Pocket Simple". How do you get the schedule to list this???????? Quote Link to comment
Mark McCay-Moran
You can modify those names with the TOOLS>SCRIPTS>Plug-in editor. Select DOOR pio, PARAMETERS, edit the "config" line and choose the wording you like from CHOICES. Those names will now show up in SETTINGS and schedules. cheers, mmm Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Gary, The database header should be "=(Door.Config)" Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
But, I suppose you are looking to customize further, so you must appropriate the "Model" field or use the new "User Field" options in the Data tab of the "Settings" option of each object. Quote Link to comment
Mark McCay-Moran
I should warn users that in existing files that already have "simple swing" doors, to change the name to "swing" will force you to select all the doors and change to the new name in the OIP. You can duplicate the PIO in the Plug-In editor and play around with the copy. mmm Quote Link to comment
Peter Eichel
Mark McCay-Moran, do you know how to change the dimension format in the door schedule from 6.667 under door height to 6'8". The existing formats are correct in the Rough Opening columns but for the life of me I cannot duplicate this in the door dimension columns. Thanks VW 12 Designer, Win XP Quote Link to comment
Gary C
Peter, Double-click the schedule, Click on the cell you want to modify. In the upper left corner under the red X click the black down arrow. Click on format cells, then click dimension. Quote Link to comment
Peter Eichel
Gary, Thanks for your help with my dimension format problem, I wonder why "Dimension" isn't the default format setting instead of "General". Regards Peter Eichel Quote Link to comment
