Lightwright Data Exchange with VW 2022

Is anyone else having data exchange issues? If I have two Vectorworks 2022 files open with data exchange on and Lightwright open, The data exchange files import each other's lights...

This is a known bug in Vectoworks 2021. The problem is that new VW UIDs aren't getting made when you create duplicates of lights. That means that when the data goes to Lightwright, the copies are seen as the same lights as their originals. The hard part is that VW has not been able to reproduce and pin down this bug, so if you can tell the VW engineers (here, or ideally by filing a bug report) exactly what you were doing just before this behavior started, they could fix the problem at the root. In the meantime, use the current release of VW 2022, which includes code to generate new VW UIDS whenever you do a "complete export on exit", which fixes the problem until it happens again.
