Door & Window ID placement in 11.5?

Where is the best place to have the door and window IDs ? In 10.5 I could create ID tags in the sheet layer identifying doors etc on the Mod layer. In 11 do I have to tag the doors etc then cut to a Viewport annotation sheet?

I believe so. I'm very new to VW and seems like the layering thing changed drastically fom v10 to v11.

I find that in v11 I cannot ID anything in Sheet Layer. I actually tag in a Design Layer especially set appart for notes, symbols, tags, etc. Strictly 2D stuff.

Regarding ID tags:

Is there a way to control the font size? I did a sheet downsize from size F to D and now all tags have this minuscule font size that cannot be resized unless you re-do EVERY tags again.
