Can't edit file ?HELP!

Hello:

I hope someone can help me.

Using VW Landmark on a Mac G-4.

I am a neophyte user of the architectural features. Currently I have been designing a house. After a whole day of work today?all of a sudden, I can no longer edit the file.

Did I "click" something accidentally or is there a bug?

I could go back to the saved file from yesterday. But, my whole day's work would be lost.

Any suggestions.

Can you see your objects but can't "grab" them? Which version of VW?

Chances are, you're on a different layer than the objects so you're not able to edit them even though you can see them. Use the Layers pull-down.

There are other possibilities depending on which version you're using.

I was trying to place an object, a fire place, when the whole thing just locked up. Can't click on anything at all except a line (1 single line) I made after this happened.

Of course I did not realize it had happened.

It's like a PDF file.

This is an imported dwg file.

I have had no problems in the past.

The older files all seem to be in the layer: "Mod-Detail-Site-1." But, when I click that nothing happens. I have tried several other layers as well?nothing.

Just clicked "active layer."
