John Windswept Design
My walls on a second floor are all mis shaped due to the Fit walls to roof command. I think it may be due to the fact the roof plate is on the first floor plate and the second floor is inside the roof. So Two questions: 1. Is there a way to revert my wall back to a straight 8' plate hieght(now they are these funky peaked walls)? 2. Is there a way to have wall inside a roof? Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
double click on the wall in question. This should select the 3D reshape tool. On the mode bar is a mode for removing wall peaks, the minus sign Click on the wall peak that you want to delete. My Architect Tutorial manual has a section of dealing with wall peaks and changing the height of the walls... available from my web site Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
another way is to make a floor at 8? in a new layer, use the fit walls to roof and select the new layer as the layer to fit to.... That?s a quick and dirty way to get all the walls to the same height when you are finished, delete the new layer Quote Link to comment
