Labels in Label Legend Manager not showing up when editing 2D Layout (all classes are visible)

Not sure if this is a glitch because it's happening in all of my documents, but, in a brand new blank document, I've added a light. I then went to the Label Legend Manager and created a new label legend called "Test" which has the Color, Purpose, and Channel fields selected. Then, I created it, and went to the edit the 2D layout--and no labels nor containers show up in the blue box for me to edit. All classes are visible, and the layer and class options are set to show/snap/modify others. Can someone help me figure out what is going on?

 

I'm in Vectorworks 21 student version and designer/spotlight is what I'm working in

It's because you have the Channel, Color, and Purpose files checked for a 3D label and not for a 2D label.

 

Move the checkmarks over to the first column and it should work.
