Sections view reverses door swings but not all.

Question

I have 3 sections of a model for a set I'm Working on. The 3 sections comprised a full section cut at different elevations.

This is how the swings should be (Plan view - Design Layer)

This is how they are sectioning.

Reboots don't seem to resolve the issue. These are door tool doors in solid objects (not wall tool walls) but that has not been an issue in the past. I did just install the latest patch last night (SP1 617970).(M1 Mac) Anyone have any insight?

Can you attach or send me the file so I can take a look?

Take a look at the two viewports to the right of the sheet area in this file.

These were done using Horizontal Sections.  I highly recommend using then rather than cutting sections with section lines.  The two viewports are horizontal sections with different cut plane heights and cropped to get the similar results to yours.  Select them and toggle the View Crop option on in the Object Info palette and you'll see the crop shapes in red.

I'm not sure how you went about creating each of the three viewports you used and I'm short on time to investigate at the moment.  In any case, I think you'll be happier using Horizontal Sections for these.

Thanks. So the section/elevation line tool should only be used for vertical sections?
