Guest Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 Make sure you are not getting the object cursor cue when you place the stove, or else it will do this. You can also turn off the enable wall insertion mode in the 2d selection tool mode bar to force the program to not insert the PIO's in the wall. Make sure you turn the mode back on should you need to insert doors and windows again. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted April 1, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 1, 2003 It is standard behavior for a symbol --any symbol-- to be able to "insert" into a wall. This behavior doesn't properly apply to all objects (as you have just found out!) To temporarily disable this behavior, turn off Wall Insertion Mode in the mode bar. This is an icon that looks like a little wall with two vertical arrows above it, one up and one down. This mode toggle is available in both the Symbol tool and the Arrow tool. Quote Link to comment
