Guest Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 This is a known problem. We think it might be a problem within distiller. ANyways, to remedy the situation -- launch VW thru the start menu. Then go to File > Page Set up. Set the printer to something other than Distiller. Then you can open more than one file in VW. The problem happens when you launch VW (which opens an Untitled1 file. If you open another file without closeing Untitled 1, you will crash. The same theory is applied to opening VW with a file then going to file > open and opening an additional file with the other still open. You will need to change the Page set each time VW is launched. For some reason, it keeps setting Distiller to the default printer even though it's not your default printer. There is a workaround currently being worked on within VW and should be in one of the upcoming VW 10 updates. Quote Link to comment
