Rodger
I know how to change the font for plug-in objects but I cannot find the Plug-In For the ID label tool in the create plug-in dialogue box. Where can I find this plug-in? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted December 11, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 11, 2002 Changing the appearance of ID tag symbols is discussed in the appendix or your VWA or VWL manual. See the topic "Creating Symbols for new ID tags". Quote Link to comment
Rodger
So I have to actually create a new symbol to change the font of the door tag. I can easily change the font of the reference markers, drawing label, etc.. Why can't I change the door tags font this easily? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted December 12, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 12, 2002 Or, you could change the font in the existing symbol. Quote Link to comment
Rodger
I cannot find the plug-in to edit. What is it called? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted December 13, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 13, 2002 It's not a plug-in, it's a symbol. Please refer to the appendix. See the topic "Creating Symbols for new ID tags". Quote Link to comment
Rodger
Robert The book references Plug-ins/VW_arch/Data/ID_Symbols.mcd, that file does not exist in my directory. I'm using VW 9.5.1. What path should I be using for storing these ID symbols? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted December 16, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 16, 2002 I'm sorry -- the book references the wrong file path. The correct file path is plug-ins\common\ [etc] instead of plug-ins\vw_arch\ [etc]. Quote Link to comment
